12TH ANNUAL SGA BALTIC STUDENT CHAPTER MEETING
We would like to invite all of you to our 12th Annual Meeting on the 9th of September 2021. This year's edition will be held online and hopefully you can join us to participate in exciting activities prepared by the group from Luleå!
Preliminary programme include:
- two keynote talks by Prof. Frances Wall from the Camborne School of Mines (UK), focused on new elements and mines in Europe and responsible sourcing
- students speed talk session (we hope at least talk will be about geochronology so we can call it "speed dating rocks")
- screening of the movie "Picture a Scientist" with panel discussions
- talk by Prof. Tobias Bauer (LTU) titled "Geology of beer"
- last but not least, networking session and geo-quiz 2.0 "Ore(o)geology"
