The Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits Baltic Student Chapter was created in autumn 2009.

Developing student activity converted into the international team of students interested in economic geology. It gathers both PhD and undergraduates from Poland, Finland and Sweden.
Our supervisors are Professor Adam Piestrzyński and Dr Eilu Pasi.

The regular point of our activity is organization of general meetings to enable members exchange of opinions and present their scientific activity. During the meetings we organize fieldtrips to mines, related production plants and geological research points. It is very important for studying people to increase their practice.
